What was added to The August Before: Chapter One?

Since our previous publically available version, we've made a lot of improvements and additions to the game. You can find a list of these changes below.

Gameplay

• Added transition to the new room

• You can now carry multiple objects at once

• You can't take it all with you — now your goal is not only to pack everything in your suitcase; you will have to choose what to take

• You don't need to zoom items in or out to put them in place

• Excessive UI-elements removed

UX

• 3 more crosshair options

• New menu interactions

• New tutorial steps

• new VFX

• Mouse sensitivity settings added

• Animations for all items

• Hints-mode is available

Visual

• New textures (photos, books, magazines)

• New objects

• Second room preview

• New character-related objects

• Reworked existing objects and minor adjustments to textures, colors, and other details

SFX

• New in-game music

Bugs

• Objects do not overlap with each other

• Objects do not fall through surfaces

• Objects are not clipping

• Light and shadows are not flickering when set on low graphics mode

• Photo album bugs fixed

• All objects on the pin board can be examined
