Patch notes for version 1997 (released October 19, 2024)

Added support for DirectX feature level 11.0. Until now, the game required feature level 11.1. This should allow some older video cards to run the game (eg. GeForce 600/700 era cards).

  • Moved green upside-down basics puzzle #3 (two-mirror closed room) to another location and made it a bonus puzzle. In its place is a simpler puzzle teaching something small but helpful for entering the orange area.

  • Added a music box to the orange hub area (but it can't be interacted with in the demo, look forward to completing it in the full game!)

  • Tweaked floor lights to make them look a little less like they're hovering off the ground

  • Fixed wrong key prompt being shown in some cases

  • Fixed bug where the player could walljump if they walked off a platform while hugging a wall

  • Fixed exploit in green upside-down combinations puzzle #2 (the open air key grab and door open) where you could enter the door upside-down.

  • Fixed bug where selecting a save slot sometimes resulted in the wrong save slot getting loaded

  • Fixed bug where ambient occlusion was being drawn on top of glass
