The Anomaly Inspector changes
V0.3 is now live! This major update addresses player feedback and adds critical quality-of-life features.
MAJOR ADDITIONS:
Checkpoint System
Checkpoints at levels 11, 21, and 31
On failure, restart from last checkpoint instead of level 1
More forgiving progression while maintaining challenge
Expanded Save System
Game now saves your exact progress
Continue from the level you left off
No more lost progress from crashes or unexpected quits
Note: "Progress Will Be Lost" warning remains active as a safety measure while we monitor save stability. A manual save confirmation will be added in a future update.

Critical Fixes
Hotfixed 2 anomalies causing soft-locks (players unable to proceed)
Resolved visual issues with 3 different anomalies
Reworked one anomaly for better visual clarity
Quality Improvements
Added rules board in safe room for easier reference
Audio improvements across multiple anomalies
Cleaned up main menu (removed unnecessary text)
KNOWN ISSUES:
Ambient audio may be low or inactive in some areas
Reporting terminal needs quality pass (overlapping triggers)
These will be addressed in V0.4. Thank you for your feedback and support! Launch is April 22 - we're working hard to make The Anomaly Inspector the best it can be.
