The Pyramid's Demo Opens Its Doors !

Hi everyone !

After a few months of work, a demo for The Amulet Of AmunRuuUUUN is available !

About the demo:

• It features the 3 first enigmas of the final game. It features the essence of the game (solving enigmas and tackling trials) without going too deep into the adventure itself. I think it is a good representation of what the final game will be.

• It can be played in solo or in duo (however the final game will be duo only). I would still strongly encourage you to find a mate and play it together. Why ? because I feel like solving enigmas is about rummaging through ideas and testing hypothesis, which is totally doable alone but the interaction with a friend and the possibility to tease them for their ignorance naiveness or congratulate them for their genius adds a really appreciable dimension to the game. Also the enigmas have been designed and tested with 2 brains in mind, thus enigmas might be harder alone.

• It is non final. While the likelihood of the enigmas changing completely is low, this demo is not the final product. Many aspects (sounds, controls, lights, etc) are still subject to change and polishing. If you have comments and advices, please write me a message.

This demo is meant for players who want to discover the enigma solving genre (which is quite under represented and I am working on compensating that !) or that are hesitant about the game. However if you know you like enigma solving adventure kinda games. I would advise you to not play the demo and enjoy the full game at once in a few months. You would watch a moving by first watching the first 20 minutes of it and then wait for a few months before watching it again. I am designing and pushing the game in this direction: as an adventure to be appreciated as a compact contiguous experience. Thus I would advise, amateurs of the genre to wait a bit longer.
