Repeated intro

Hello again. How are you doing? Doing well, I hope. I've been attending more markets recently, as I have been trying to sell my book as I can. But my mom recently brought to my attention that another person uploaded a book to Amazon with the exact same title as mine.:| Kind of took the wind out of my sails. I'm talking with the lawyer I hired years ago to see what exactly can be done, but...yeah. Kind of a bummer. Ugh. And there's only so much I can do when I'm this broke, but my mother said she was willing to help me out, so we'll have to see what comes of all this. But, I don't want to depress you all, since these posts are about cheering you guys up. I've kind of been making a friend with someone, IRL, recently. We don't meet up all the time, but when we do, we have a blast. We went for Chinese food on Sunday evening. That was pretty fun. Oh, and afterward we showed her the Live Action Adaptation of One Piece. It was a blast to revisit that show with someone who's never seen it before. ːsteamdanceː Do any of you like One Piece? I never really got into the manga, as it was so long, and when it came out I was more into Bleach and Naruto at the time. But the live action version truncates the plot quite a bit, so it's a much easier pill to swallow. And Season 2 is set to come out in March! I'm so excited! ːsteamhappyː Oh, and before I forget, Hugspolsion to all of you! X3 You've had a hard week, this week, so you definitely deserve it! Now For Zee Youtube Videos You've All Been Waiting For! I know why you're all coming here! So let's share this good stuff! ːsteamsunnyː

addedLast time I recommended a "So Bad It's Good" Bootleg Chinese Anime, so this time I'm recommending one that's actually pretty good. First thing you'll want to know is that, with a lot of these Bootleg Chinese Animes (especially the compilation videos), most of them aren't finished. Like the above video, you'll get a story without an ending, and no real signs as to when the stories are going to get updated. Personally, this is fine for me, as I'm a writer, so I can just mentally write a "happily ever after" to my liking, whenever I want. And after seeing so many Asian Dramas drop the ball with their endings, my head canon ends up being better than what we actually get. Second thing you should know it's that it's another "villainess" anime, where the main character is from "the real world" and knows the general script ahead of time. If you're sick to death of that genre, then this won't be fun for you. But, if you're willing to give it a chance, it does a couple things right, hence the recommendation. The story proper is about Real Girl Number #4205, ending up in the story where she is Pampered Villainess #2348. Having read the book/story, she knows that her rich family will be raided and everyone will be killed. So, in order to avoid that fate, she decides to make her family go broke before that can happen. Unfortunately, she isn't allowed to act "out of character" from this persona she's adopted, so she gets the family's Business Colleagues to make really stupid financial decisions to bankrupt the family indirectly. I won't spoil anything, but this has hilarious consequences. ːsteamthumbsupː Then there's the male lead. From what I remember of the subtitles, they're kinda vague, but I think he's supposed to be the evil, maniacal prince who leads the raid on her rich family later. There's some stuff going on with him that basically lands him under Pampered Villainess's care. Since he's constantly scouting out her family, he pretends to be a hapless, puppy dog personality in order to come across as harmless. This actually ends up creating one of the most interesting fictional relationships dynamics I've ever seen--the bubbly girl pretends to be a cold calculating marketing genius, while the cold, calculating guy pretends to be a bubbly guy. It's actually really fascinating. Also, this show has got to have one of the best dads I've seen in fiction. Hapless Puppydog Prince invites Dad over at one point, tells dad that he's a prince, and that he wants to marry her daughter, and dad says "um, I'll pass." Perplexed, the Prince is like "wait, you're turning down a prince??" To which the dad responds "I know what goes down in the palace--all the backstabbing and murders in trying to get to the throne--and don't want my daughter to be involved in any of it. " The Prince is baffled by this response, tells the dad that his daughter really loves him, and rather than making a big fuss over this, the Dad is like "honey, I want to honour your wishes, but are you sure you want to be with this guy...?" It's such a small character role, but this dad is a champ that deserves a medal. Not only did he deny royalty to protect his daughter's life, but even when backed into a corner, he doesn't try to force his daughter to obey him, but tries to respect her wishes while gently advising her otherwise. Move over, Charlie Swan! There's a new fictional dad champ in town! It ends on a semi-cliffhanger, but I had enough fun with the premise that I'm totally willing to recommend it. :3 There's a lot more to the story than that, but if you think you'll enjoy it, you probably will. Let's wait for the next set of episodes together! ːcatinablanketː

Since we're talking about One Piece, why not share the hilarious blooper reel? :D It may not make sense if you haven't seen it, but let's just think of this as another shameless plug. ;)

This Ye Olde Japanese Artist drew dogs when it wasn't entirely appropriate, and I'm here for it. ːsteamsunnyː We could all do more with a couple cute doggos in our lives.

As a writer, this one hits a little too close to home. XD

This one is a more contemplative kind of video. It reminds me of the olden days of Pokemon, and just feels like a good video to share all around. Sometimes fun can be better found in just going with the flow. :)

Oh, and AM I THE ONLY ONE EXCITED FOR THIS?! X3 Obviously not, since it hit viral status after releasing, BUT I AM SO PUMPED! X3 X3 X3

I've also been revisiting some classics. Can you blame me? ːsteamsunnyː

AND IF WE'RE TALKING ABOUT CLASSICS, WE CAN'T FORGET THIS ONE! I was SO GLAD when I found out the links to the next parts of the song, were now listed in the video descriptions...! Now I can return to Planet Bear in peace...! ːsteamlaughcryː

This creator is just adorable, and does all sorts of fun stuff. ;) Why not showcase more of their content?

And here is a song entirely made up of quotes from the movie Shrek. And WHY IS IT SO GOOD?! DX I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO IT!! Asian Drama Watch
