Nearly three decades after the original helped define early interactive storytelling, The 7th Guest Remake rebuilds Henry Stauf’s infamous mansion from the ground up with updated visuals, redesigned puzzles, and newly recorded volumetric video performances that place players directly inside the story.
Players step inside the legendary Stauf mansion, where six guests have been invited under mysterious circumstances. As they explore its shifting corridors, transforming rooms, and hidden secrets, they must solve increasingly complex puzzles while uncovering the truth behind the enigmatic toy maker Henry Stauf.
Puzzle design rebuilt for a new generation
The remake features reimagined puzzle design that integrates challenges directly into the mansion and its narrative. Each puzzle is tied to the world’s lore, encouraging exploration, observation, and discovery as players uncover how every room connects to the larger mystery.
Cinematic volumetric performances
A defining feature of The 7th Guest Remake is its use of newly recorded volumetric video performances. Real actors are captured in full 3D and placed directly into the game world, allowing characters to exist within the mansion rather than outside of it.
