The mining visual novel Thaw has officially launched!

Thaw is a quiet and gentle mining narrative game designed to offer a small sense of accomplishment on sleepless nights. When you don’t quite have the energy to read a book or watch a film, yet it feels like a waste to simply go to bed—and you find yourself endlessly scrolling through social media— Thaw offers a softer alternative to revenge bedtime procrastination.

The game can be completed in about 1.5 hours.

In the mining sections, you can dig absentmindedly even when tired, gradually descending through a snowbound mine in search of a special ore hidden at the deepest layer. The ores you collect are then used to unlock story segments, where a warm and heartfelt narrative helps you feel that your time has been meaningfully spent.

By exchanging ores for tools owned by the characters you meet along the way, you can upgrade your mining abilities and dig more smoothly and comfortably.
