addedI'm excited to announce the full release of Tetrachroma! Compared to the demo version, the full release adds 7 new modes, 25 more puzzles, the ability to play the game in a single stage SPECTRUM style, and bunch of unlockable color palettes and blocks.
addedThere's a lot of new modes being added at once, so I'm sure there will be balance changes and fixes needed. Please let me know on the Steam forums or elsewhere if you have feedback or encounter problems.
addedIn addition to the many new modes and puzzles, here's a change list for this version:
addedAchievements added. Unlock 58 achievements by completing modes and challenges.
addedAdded new Unlocks screen. View all the game's block styles and color palettes and see what you've unlocked.
addedAdded advanced controls. You can now bind keys to perform instant 180 rotations and "hard shifts". These are unbound by default.

Creating this game has been an intense journey for me as I dive deep into a genre I love. I've gotten a lot of joy out of developing this game, and I want to thank everyone that has been a part of that. Thanks to all the demo players and everyone that offered feedback and support!

In addition to the many new modes and puzzles, here's a change list for this version:

Changes:

  • Achievements added. Unlock 58 achievements by completing modes and challenges.

  • Added new Unlocks screen. View all the game's block styles and color palettes and see what you've unlocked.

  • Added advanced controls. You can now bind keys to perform instant 180 rotations and "hard shifts". These are unbound by default.

  • Added 'Late Lock Rejection Window' option to the controls handling page. After automatic locking, manual locks are ignore for a few frames to prevent accidental late locks. This lets you set this window size or turn it off by setting it to zero.

  • Added the option to turn off the background in the Preferences menu.

  • Final stage background changed. The final stage of MARATHON has a new background theme. The old background theme of black and white landscape photos is now used for MONOCHROME/STANDARD in the new SPECTRUM format.

  • Gameplay Track Brahm's "Intermezzo" has been transposed a step down. Unfortunately large music publishers sometimes issues automated false claims that affect original versions of public domain classical music like the music I made for this game. Although I've not experienced any copyright claims on my own uploads of the game, a player of the demo received a claim from this track on their channel, so the track has been modified to hopefully avoid further automated false claims. If you receive any claims as a result of Tetrachroma gameplay footage, please contact me
