Patch 1.2 & Steam Winter Sale!

Happy Holidays! Right in time for the Steam Winter Sale, Terrorformer TD version 1.2 is here!

Enjoy additional QoL changes, unlock & upgrade spells in-game, and try out the reworked progression system (with over 350 starting perks to unlock!) -- all at a reduced price for the next 2 weeks.

Patch 1.2: Steam Winter Sale 2024 Edition

This map replaces the existing progression system and global unlocks with a new tiered progression system, using a new currency earned with each player level up. Spells can also be unlocked and upgraded within a game now.

Bugfixes

• Ensure player can't continue buying card packs in the store if there are no available cards to draw

• Bugfix for some game saves not being able to load due to a JSON error

• Fix Level delta in Tower/Spell preview window not having enough display space

• Ensure tooltips show on locked New Game choices and explain unlock conditions

• Fix some mis-matched home tower parts' effects

Gameplay & Balance Changes

• Simplify unlock conditions for all Home Tower Parts to be based upon level

• Other starting perks are now unlocked by spending Rings after reaching the required level to unlock

New Content & Misc.

• Add Spell Unlocks & Upgrades to Science Shop

• Change spells to use tower/spell live preview frame in Science Shop

  

• Add details for which starting perks the player selected (below the Science Shop)

• Add new meta currency (rings?) earned upon player level up, used to unlock global upgrades that apply to every game

• Add themed map tiles to tower/spell live preview frame

  

Known Issues

• Players with game saves prior to version 1.1 will not be able to use Continue Game until they start a New Game.
