First of all, thank you once again for your patience, your support, and for all the feedback you've shared with us over the past few weeks.

Today's update continues our work on improving Terrinoth: Heroes of Descent, with a strong focus on co-op stability, gameplay fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and balancing.

Multiplayer

Guests can now access and view the Collection (Shop and forge). Please note that only the host can spend resources.

  • Fixed several synchronization issues that could cause the host and guests to see different states of the environment.

  • Fixed an infinite black screen when accepting a multiplayer invitation while the game wasn't already running.

  • Fixed a softlock that could occur when a guest used the Rallying skill.

  • Fixed a desynchronization that could occur when a guest spent Action Points on multiple heroes within the same initiative cluster.

  • Fixed guests seeing incorrect hero levels and being unable to level up their assigned heroes during Team Creation in the camp.

  • Fixed guest’s followers not following the guest's leader.

  • Fixed Synergy Skills being available only to the host.

  • Fixed guests not seeing aura effects.

  • Fixed guests' skills sometimes disappearing after loading into a dungeon.

  • Fixed some lags and teleportations in exploration. This is still work in progress and you'll still see teleportations, notably while interacting with environment elements after issuing a move command.

General Improvements

  • Added a Help section to the Pause Menu, allowing you to revisit any tutorials you've already unlocked.

  • Bosses are now immune to Frozen.

  • Improved Zagyar's behavior in The Tower of Fang Peak.

  • Updated Selghar's behavior in The Vault of the Elder Kings.

  • Fixed the final encounter in Mennara's Teeth. The round limit is now correctly removed once all Dark Vines have been destroyed.

  • Fixed the dungeon layout in A Prison of Ice. This resolves the issue where Nomharr could jump across the chasm, start combat, and leave the rest of the party permanently trapped.

  • Fixed potions sometimes appearing in skill slots. As we didn't have consistent reproduction steps for this issue, there may still be some edge cases. If you encounter it again, please let us know.

  • Fixed a softlock during the first fight of The Cave of Wonders when only one enemy remained alive at the end of Round 5.

  • Fixed Mizrael's Unbearable Corruption not knocking heroes unconscious when the Blight threshold was reached.

  • Fixed Soulbiter not removing blight applied to heroes while in the aura.

  • Fixed Aim Penalty floating text appearing too many times.

  • Fixed the Squeaky Clean achievement not always unlocking when conditions were met.

  • Fixed the Healthy Spirit in a Healthy Body achievement.

  • Improved the readability of Barrier stack removal.

  • Improved wording in some tutorials and combat objectives.

  • Reduced the cost of the Radiant Shard upgrade from 10,000 Gold to 3,000 Gold.

  • Fixed multiple minor bugs.

  • Fixed missing characters in polish font.

  • Various optimization improvements.

  • We've continued working on GPU usage, particularly in the Main Menu. While we've made improvements, we know some players are still experiencing high GPU usage, and we'll continue monitoring your feedback while investigating additional optimization opportunities wherever possible.

Skills

  • Fixed Aurta's Winter's Ire causing a softlock when killing a Frozen enemy.

  • Fixed Cedwin's Shock Arrow third upgrade not applying Stun when the conditions were met.

  • Fixed Finniel's Regrowth second upgrade not increasing healing when the conditions were met.

  • Fixed Finniel's Spore Infection not spreading Poison.

  • Fixed Myria's Guard Break first upgrade not working correctly when the third upgrade was also activated.

  • Fixed Nomharr's Frenzied Assault second upgrade causing him to charge twice.

  • Fixed Nomharr's Brutal Smashdown third upgrade damaging also Nomharr himself.

Items

  • Fixed the Duality Talisman losing its damage bonus after the first fight in a dungeon.

  • Fixed the Adventurer's Ring and Quicksilver Greaves losing their Speed bonus after the first fight in a dungeon.

  • Fixed Veshi's High Priestess Tunic, Finniel's Bloodthicket Diadem, and several other items losing their immunity effects after the wearer became unconscious.

  • Reduced Unstoppable Carapace Protection bonus from +4 to +2.

  • Increased Radiant Arrow of Kurnos damage bonus from +35% to +50%.

We'll continue monitoring your feedback as we work on improving Terrinoth: Heroes of Descent. Every report helps us identify new issues and prioritize future improvements, so if you encounter a bug, please don't hesitate to let us know!

Here's what we're currently working on:

  • Improving the combat camera to make sure you don't miss the action and have better visibility of what's happening when it's not your turn.

  • Rebalancing combat interactables (such as explosive barrels) so they scale more naturally throughout the adventure.

  • Continuing to fine-tune the game's overall balance.

  • Investigating the cause of long loading times experienced on some hardware configurations.
