Since release, I’ve received a lot of feedback from players, and I noticed there are quite a few small things that new players tend to get confused about.

So I decided to put together a quick beginner guide!

(More tips and updates will continue to be added over time.)

⚔️ Early Progression Tips

🥚 The Egg Quest takes place outside the village

Most early quests, including the Egg quest, can be completed outside the north portal of the village.

(The eggs inside the village are just decorations…🙂)

✨ What does a blinking UI button mean?

If your Inventory / Equipment / Skill / Quest buttons are blinking, it usually means something new is available.

For example:

  • New equipment available

  • A new skill can be learned

  • A quest has progressed

Especially for the Skill menu, blinking usually means:

“Hey! Learn your new skill already!!” 🙂

📚 Upgrade your skills as often as possible

Skill upgrades are much more important than they might seem at first.

If you meet the requirements, it’s highly recommended to level them up right away.

The difference is pretty noticeable.

You’ll end up using healing much more often later in the game.

Personally, I highly recommend putting Terra Heal into an auto slot 🙂

Most players will naturally follow this route through quests, but generally this progression works well:

  • Lv.1~10 → Mujin’s Farm

  • Lv.10~20 → Wildlands (Front Area)

  • Lv.20~30 → Wildlands (Deep Area)

  • Lv.30~40 → Abandoned Cave (Front Area)

  • Lv.40~50 → Abandoned Cave (Deep Area)

  • Lv.50~60 → Polluted Marsh (Front Area)

  • Lv.60~70 → Polluted Marsh (Deep Area)

  • Lv.70~80 → Harvest Camp (Front Area)

  • Lv.80~90 → Harvest Camp (Deep Area)

Especially after Lv.30, combining hunting with Request Board quests becomes much more efficient.

💰 Potion / Gold / Material Tips

🧪 Can't find “Tiny Terra Stone”?

I’ve received feedback from some players saying the early quest item “Tiny Terra Stone” sometimes feels difficult to obtain.

I recently increased the drop rate, but if you’re still unlucky, buying one from Winir’s shop is also a perfectly fine option.

2500 gold may feel expensive early on, but later it becomes much easier to earn 🙂

💸 Sell unused equipment and materials

Potion costs add up more than you might expect…

Selling unused gear and materials regularly is a good habit to build up gold.

🧃 Terra Potions are very cost-efficient

If you keep wondering:

“Why am I always out of potion money?”

…there’s a good chance you’re using too many regular Healing Potions 🙂

📜 Don’t be afraid to use Return Scrolls

You’ll end up using Return Scrolls quite frequently later in the game.

Using one right before dying is honestly almost like a survival skill…

(Return Scroll gameplay is an important technique 😎)

⚔️ Equipment & Combat Tips

🔥 Equipment options are extremely important

Even items with the same level and rarity can perform very differently depending on their random stats.

Early on, Attack and Defense Penetration tend to feel the strongest.

Later in the game, HP and Defense become much more important.

And if your healing starts feeling weak, you may want to pay attention to Recovery stats as well.

👹 Don’t ignore Unique / Boss monsters

Unique and Boss monsters are much stronger than regular enemies, but they also provide:

  • Better EXP

  • Better equipment

  • Valuable progression materials

Some of them may even be hidden in secret areas 🙂

📈 If monsters feel too strong…

Terra Stone is designed around the loop of:

“Hunt monsters → Farm gear → Grow stronger”

If progression feels difficult, it’s often a good idea to slow down a bit, farm gear, and strengthen your skills.

Sometimes a single good item can completely change your hunting speed.

📚 Skill Book Tips

📖 Skill Books can be obtained through quests, bosses, and the Black Merchant

Most Skill Books have a chance to drop from specific bosses.

And if you pay close attention to the Black Merchant’s shop conditions…

…you might find some hints about where they come from 😏

⚡ Extra Tip

🛡️ Counter is extremely strong for farming

Counter performs incredibly well against groups of enemies.

It also has very strong synergy with Terra Charge Lv.3 🙂

Thank you for playing Terra Stone 🙂

I’ll continue adding more tips and beginner information as players discover new things!
