The Summer of Terraria 2021 - See what's in store!

TERRARIA SUMMER UPDATES

Greetings Terrarians!

We wanted to check in with everyone as we are about to head into the Summer months. After all, there is no better time to pick up a fresh Terraria playthrough with a friend or two then during the relaxing Summer months!

We will check in periodically with fun events and happenings throughout the community, so you will definitely want to stay tuned! Of course, if you are looking for a more holistic view into the ins-and-outs of the dev teams and more, you should check out our monthly State of the Game posts over on Terraria Community Forums (May's linked below):

TERRARIA DISCORD ALLIANCE SUMMER ART CONTEST

We are also excited to announce a fun Discord Alliance collaboration event starting June 19 at 12PM PST!

Get ready for a Summer themed art submission event! There will be a channel in all participating Alliance servers for participants to submit their entries.

The rules are simple: create Summer themed art that can also incorporate the theme of your community as well. Everyone will have until July 3 at 12PM PST to submit their entry to the event. You only need to submit your entry in one server.After all submissions have been received we will then add them to a Google form and open voting to the Discord servers of all participating communities. Voting will also last for a week.Rules: • You must submit an image/GIF. • It must be your own original work. • No NSFW submissions.

The top 10 voted winners will each win prizes that they will get to pick from a prize pool. These prizes will range from a free year of Discord Nitro to free copies of games. Our goal is to have some fun and start working together with other big communities on fun collaboration events. In addition to the prizes that the top 10 global winners will receive, we are also going to give prizes to the top 5 entries that come specifically from the Terraria community/server.

In the coming weeks we are also going to be announcing additional fun Summer events in the Terraria community, so you will want to keep an eye out for more as we continue the exciting community celebrations in Terraria's 10th year.
