  • Gameplay
  • Performance
changedGameplay: Introducing the Fuel Hydrant System upgrade, which allows the player to build underground fuel pipes. These allow more efficient supply of fuel to aircraft, particularly for larger aircraft. The pressure in the fuel pipes is governed by a physical model. The pressure must reach a minimum value at an Apron or Gate for the fuel pipe connection to operate. Pressure is released upon refueling (with larger aircraft causing more pressure loss). Pressure takes longer to build up in longer pipe networks, but can be increased by placing Fuel Pumps along the line.
addedGameplay: Hydrant dispenser trucks are now available at fuel depots. These replace fuel trucks when sufficient pressure is available at a fuel pipe connection. Hydrant dispenser trucks are cheap and can refuel any aircraft size in a single visit (as they use the underground pipe connection).
changedGameplay: Fuel tanks now require the Fuel Hydrant System upgrade and a fuel pipe connection to a Fuel Depot to function.
addedOptimization: We have completely re-written the pathfinding and movement algorithm used by vehicles and people. The new version should improve framerates.
