Ten Thousand Coins: The Golden Merchant changes
Here is the second part of our big v0.11.0 update, along with other news and updates!
Big UI and Design Improvements
We have more UI quality of life and better design improvements:
Selling Goods for Coins - We have updated the sell goods for coins UI to be an inventory window where you can place as many goods as you wish to sell into, allowing you to preview how many coins you will receive before committing to the sale.
Trading Goods Value UI - We have adjusted the value charts of needed goods seen on the world map to be simpler and easier to grasp when looking over them quickly, changing it from a more detailed graph. The graph system will still be unlockable during gameplay (WIP).
Roguelite UI - New UI art and descriptions for our roguelite power-ups from the Merchants Guild and Ravenn Company.
Difficulty Adjustments - We have adjusted gameplay difficulty, such as player condition (HP), enemy HP and Attack according to playtesting feedback.
Many smaller improvements, balancing, and bug fixes!
Company Mode
Big updates to our Company Mode as well, which is now also a priority alongside content development:
Rooms - You will be able to individually renovate and improve each room in the company building, with each room having multiple functions as well.
Functions - Each room will contain different functions that you can build and upgrade with coins (and goods), for example, the Tavern will have the Bar function (allowing you to hire travellers that come to your company for a drink) and the Kitchen function (allows you to cook up meals to bring with you on your jobs and more).
Combat System
Adjustments and balancing have been made to the combat system, with a big improvement being you can now select multiple goods to attack or defend with. These goods can also combine their boost/afflictions when selecting multiple goods to attack/defend at the same time.
This improvement also speeds up combat by reducing the number of unnecessary UI interactions that previously slowed down gameplay.
Content Updates
We have also begun building new game content for the upcoming builds, and are also in the process of implementing all the necessary systems for game localisation.
