Hello, Tamers! We're back here again with an update on Temtem: Pioneers, a glimpse into the world of the new game we're making. It's also my birthday today! Thanks to having hit a Stretch Goal with everyone's support, the awesomely spooky Dark Forest will be another Biome in Temtem: Pioneers! Enjoy making your way through bioluminescent flora in a dark, dusky region.

changedRight now we’re planning a big Dark Forest area on its own, but we’ll also try to include another zone somewhere else, so that your adventure can be deliciously spooky more often. It’s possible that only one of these areas will be in endless darkness, but as you know, this biome is only in the very early stages of planning and designing, and is subject to change as development progresses.
changedMany Mental Tems reside in the Dark Forest, as the Mental type is the reigning archetype in the Dark Biome, but as with the rest of biomes, you’ll find a bunch of different Tems, with different types. Find old friends, like Reval and Aohi, Kinu or Valar, nesting in the Dark Forest with a myriad of other Mental Tems.
changedWe can’t wait to make more progress on the Dark Forest, so we can show you more about this super unique biome, with all its shadows and its magic. If you’re like me, and like spooky settings, you’re gonna love the Dark Forest!!

Venture off the beaten path: The Dark Forest is a mysterious and alluring zone that you’ll come across while you explore the Downbelow. Since the Pansun will be right above it, its warm rays will never touch the surface of the Dark Forest, hence its name. Your only source of light as you explore will come from its enchanting glow-in-the-dark plants.
