Story

Winter's Trumpet is a short Urban Fantasy point'n'click interactive love story set against the backdrop of an epidemic.

It was winter when the flu from Tarsia swept across Aeser... now you are quarantined with your roommate, Rosemary, who is bored out of her mind—and is more than a little suspicious of your mysterious suitor, Marcus. After all, the man clearly has secrets.

Meanwhile, the immortal demoness, Kalevel Venhera, is looking for someone that possesses a special Sight, a sort of magic-user called a scrivener, and after centuries she thinks she's found one... only, things don't turn out the way she expects...

Author's Note

I was planning to launch a kickstarter for the Empress of Aeser back in - jeez - March, but when quarantines started popping up, I decided to delay it. However, I worked on this short game in the meantime. This story takes place before the events of Tell a Demon and centers around some of the characters that show up in Tell a Demon (Kalevel, Markaius, and Tetrine).
