The wait is almost over. After months of testing, balancing, and polishing, we're excited to announce that Tears of Metal will launch in Early Access on July 22nd.

What to expect at launch

The Early Access version includes the complete core experience:

  • The full progression loop from beginning to end

  • Three Acts, each with unique enemies, Elites, and Bosses

  • Three playable Heroes

  • Village upgrades, Emblems, Equipment, Companions, and more

The game is fully playable from A to Z, but we believe Tears of Metal can become even better with community feedback. Early Access will allow us to continue expanding the game while working closely with players to improve and refine the experience.

During Early Access, you can expect:

  • New playable Heroes

  • New Emblem Family

  • New Equipment and Charms

  • New Companions

  • Additional Village content

  • Balance updates and gameplay improvements

  • Performance optimizations

  • Quality-of-life features based on community feedback

We're proud of where the game is today and feel it's ready for players to jump in. At the same time, we have exciting content planned for the months ahead, and your feedback will help shape its future.

We know we missed our original Spring release window, and we appreciate your patience. Thank you for sticking with us! At least we ALMOST managed to announce the release date before Spring ended... by a few days. We're almost there! Can't wait to welcome you all on July 22nd.

Demo Ending July 6

One final note: the demo will be removed on July 6th.

The demo no longer reflects the current state of the game. Because it is significantly out of date, and because save files will not carry over to the full version, we've decided to retire it ahead of launch.

If you haven't played the demo yet, this is your last chance to give it a try before it disappears.

Thank you for all your support, feedback, bug reports, and encouragement throughout development.

See you on July 22nd.
