Taxi Life Announcement: Next Patch + DLC Info

Hello Drivers,

We hope the new year has you off to a great start and you’re ready to come along with us for the ride to see what’s next to come for Taxi Life. In this post, we’ll be talking about some dates, what you can expect in the next patch as well as the new DLC that comes along with it. Without further adieu, let’s dive right in.

Release Date + DLC info

We’re excited to announce that the next patch is scheduled for release on February 13, 2025. This update will introduce a brand-new DLC available across all platforms.

New Game Mode: Delivery Driver

We did tease this a little bit on our social media and the eagle eye’d of you noticed that there is a new icon on the map. When you go to this icon, you’ll start the new cargo delivery mode where you’ll be timed on delivering packages to points on the map. So you’ll have to be quick, but safe.

Many of you have already mastered Taxi Life by completing it 100%, and we’re excited to introduce something fresh for you!

With the brand-new DLC, players can dive into the "Delivery Driver" game mode, where the challenge is to deliver packages safely and in the best condition (or at least try) avoiding damage along the way. New players, on the other hand, will have additional objectives to tackle while immersing themselves in the vibrant streets of Barcelona.

And what better way to explore the city than with a brand-new ride? The Victoris pick-up truck is here, ready to take on the demands of your delivery missions with style and efficiency. Get ready to experience Taxi Life like never before!

New Vehicle: Victoris

We’ve added a new pick-up truck into the game called the Victoris. Spacious, powerful and it has a cargo bed in the back making it ideal for picking up packages in the new delivery mode. Doesn’t mean that you can't pick up passengers in this beast also. But remember, with great power comes great responsibility.

Fixes and Improvements

AI Pedestrian

Yes, we know. AI pedestrians have been a pain in the…you know what.

We tried our best to improve them in previous patches and although we did see some good progress with the help of the community on making the AI pedestrians not try to kill themselves or worse …cause players to get ticketed. We decided that it would be a good idea to give you the option to turn the pedestrians completely off by a slider in the settings menu.

You can set that switch to 0 and BOOM….you are now living in a post apocalyptic world where Taxi’s have taken over and humans have gone extinct.

Other Changes and Improvements

Alongside those additions mentioned above, you can expect a good amount of bug fixes for some stuff that you guys have been asking us to fix for months now. So we wanted to thank you for your patience and support throughout this time.

You can expect fixes to the acceleration and engine behavior when using the throttle and shifting between gears. We’ll have more info on that in the patch notes on release day.
