After evaluating different visual directions, the choice was made to move toward a simplified presentation with cleaner geometry, reduced visual noise, and improved readability. The goal was to create a more cohesive and focused look across the entire game while preserving the atmosphere and identity of Tavern Legends.

Visual adjustments have been made throughout the full game, including buildings, props, vegetation, furniture, characters, and environmental detail.

Warning! Unfortunately, all save files had to be deleted due to the major changes!

Main visual improvements include:

  • cleaner geometry

  • simplified environmental detail

  • improved object readability

This new direction aims to create a sharper and more cohesive visual experience while preserving the atmosphere of Tavern Legends.

And some small other changes was done:

Updates

  • Added some more “trolling” stuff

  • Added 3 new german bard songs

  • Changed the default value of preparing drinks to 20

  • The dress code can now be changed individually for each worker instead of being set for the entire tavern

  • Added a work area setting that lets you choose whether a worker is assigned serving to the first or second floor

  • Performance Improvements

Fixes

  • Fixed a bug, where you can fall through the world behind the cemetery crypt

  • Fixes a bug, where not all games was used by the guests

  • Fixed a bug where closing the skill sheet with Tab or Esc after learning a new skill caused the skill not to be learned while the skill points were still lost
