How Long Will Task Time Be Free to Play?

Task Time is Free to Play for 48 hours starting at 8PM BST on the 16th April, ending on the 18th April.

How much is Task Time?

Task Time is available for $7.99 / £6.39, but to celebrate the (surprise) launch we have a 2-week discount offering a whopping 38% off!

How do I earn tickets to customize my character?

Play games, win tickets... It’s as easy as that!

How do I unlock Bing Bong?

Bing Bong is available to purchase via the in-game shop, all you need to do is earn enough tickets to unlock him!

Can I unlock any more cosmetics?

Yes! Each week we will drop a new set of cosmetics available in the shop. You can also earn new cosmetics when you level up!

How do I start a game?

When you join a lobby, everyone needs to stand on the push pads in front of the giant computer screen. Once they have all turned green, a countdown will begin and place you in the map. Then, after a few seconds, you will be given your first task. After this, all you need to do to start a new round is simply interact with the computer to receive your next task.

How many people can play?

Up to 8 contestants can enter the multiplayer showdown, and 4-players can join in local split screen!

Can I play offline?

Task Time requires all players to be online for standard multiplayer, however you can play local split screen offline!

How does proximity chat work?

In you setting, you can choose how to enable proximity chat - either with push to talk, or by making it always available. Ensure your microphone settings are correct, then when you are nearby another Taskling... they will hear you!

How does Twitch Integration work?

  1. You will need to connect to Twitch by clicking the Twitch icon on the main menu. This will open a browser window where you can log in to Twitch (this should be done by the host of the lobby).

  2. When you go to create a game, ensure Twitch is enabled.

  3. Then, when you get in-game, a vote will be enabled in chat after Round 1!

TECHNICAL QUESTIONS:

Will it be Steam Deck compatible?

Task Time hasn’t been Steam Deck verified yet, but we hope to bring it to the platform in the future!

Does it have controller support?

Yes - cause havoc however you like, whether it's with a keyboard & mouse or controller.

What languages is the game currently in?

  • English

  • Traditional Chinese

Why are there two languages on screen?

You’ll see two languages: your system language and an additional one. This is mainly because our dev team liked the style of it, but it also works nicely for streamers, creators, and their audiences!

What age rating is Task Time?

Task Time is rated ESRB Everyone 10+ which means fun for all the family!
