addedWe were so very excited to be able to first announce this new game as part of Double Fine's and iam8bit's Day of the Devs festival (The Game Awards edition!) - Adam and I got to travel from chilly London to LA to show the game (and our other upcoming game, Crow Country) in person to press and the public. The response there, and in general, has been overwhelming, what a perfect end to the year! Here's the preview video that was shown in the Day of the Devs digital showcase stream:

In "The Mermaid's Tongue", the detective duo have been called to investigate the murder of Magnus Mortuga, captain of the world's strangest submarine. Found alone in a locked room, with only an ancient stone cauldron to suggest how he might have died, it's up to Detective Grimoire and Sally to piece together what really happened. Was it a curse, released from the cauldron? One of the submarine's eccentric crew? Or does the bizarre truth run even deeper...

The Tangle Tower dev team is back, and we have a few additions too! As well as all of SFB Games (that's, uh, me and my brother Adam), we have Catherine Unger's amazing environment art, Jonathan Harris' fluid character animations, and Raphael B. Meyer's stunning orchestral score. And of course, Edwyn Tiong and Amber Lee Connors are back as Grimoire and Sally. The suspects are a secret for now, we'll have more to share soon.
