Greetings from the trail, detective!
The Willow version is the first content update for Tamarak Trail 🎲
Listening to your feedback we've added several cores that should change gameplay dramatically (for example removing infinite combo exhaustion for a die!). The balance changes were aimed to shorten the amount of time a run takes (especially the forest area) and make the mines more challenging.
Dice throwing was improved a bit to add more randomness and rotation. This experimentation will be continued with the increasing mass of the dice in future updates. Talking about the future, the next goal is to improve the diversity of monsters by adding elite monsters guarding chests.
As this feature touches on map generation and several foundational elements of the game it requires careful thought and testing.
