addedHello Talewardens, solivagants, and cowfolks alike! It's Yelonnek the game's lead artist and scripter, with another devlog 🧑Work on Talewarden: Riders of the New Day is going smoothly, though a bit slowly, since we only have around 4–5 hours a day to develop it. Bummer, I know! Still, we're doing the best we can to bring you a world full of wonder, danger, and unforgettable characters to meet.
addedHello Talewardens, solivagants, and cowfolks alike! It's Yelonnek the game's lead artist and scripter, with another devlog 🧑Besides that, we've been giving our full attention to designing future characters . Talewarden will feature over 30 characters to meet, and we love to create unique and intriging designs and coming up with stories from their worlds. Here are a few of the new faces you'll stumble upon during your journey. Some may become loyal friends, some may meet tragic fates, and others might lend you a helping hand. Which path they take... well, that depends on you. πŸ‘‰

Here's a little sneak peek at some of them. Sorry for the blur, we don't want to spoil where your travels will take you, do we? Where's the fun in that?
addedHello Talewardens, solivagants, and cowfolks alike! It's Yelonnek the game's lead artist and scripter, with another devlog 🧑You may have already noticed that we've updated our key art ! We've been thinking about making this change for quite a while, and we feel this new illustration represents the game much better. It puts the focus on the characters and the journey ahead while embracing our weird-west aesthetic.
changedHello Talewardens, solivagants, and cowfolks alike! It's Yelonnek the game's lead artist and scripter, with another devlog 🧑In the meantime, we also participated in Nonbinary Coded Games event on Steam (yes, we're both enbies, hello πŸ‘‹) which brought us a huge amout of wishlists. Talewarden has now passed 3,100 wishlists , and we honestly couldn't be happier! Thank you, thank you everyone who's been supporting us and eagerly waiting for the game! Reading comments from people saying Talewarden is their most anticipated vn genuinely makes our day. 🧑🧑

Lately, we've been editing the script for Act III (which is by far the biggest of the game's four acts). Soon we'll implementing it into Ren'Py.

Besides that, we've been giving our full attention to designing future characters. One of Talewarden's biggest strengths isn't just its character designs, but also the amount of detail the backgrounds have. The game is all about exploring the unknown, so we always want each location to feel captivating, mysterious, and full of little details that encourage you to come up with your own theories.

Though we've also been getting some not-so-cool comments about the queer stuff in our game and people accusing us of using AI art (like, what do you mean??), but I guess it only means we're getting more popular. πŸ˜‚ From other unpleasant news, there was also an alarming incident in our country that gave us a little fright, so it's been a bit difficult to fully focus on the project. But we're managing and we're safe! I'm just saying this in case our work seems to be going a little slower than usual.

But to not end on the gloomy stuff, catch some (fan) art of some of the "Notorious" Riders of the Night (Buff Finch, is a treat for everyone. And yes his "natural" hair is curly.). Bye and stay safe!!
