So, what’s going on in the world of Tackle for Loss, you might ask? I’m happy to give an update:
We had our prelaunch on November 9th, and it was awesome! Within just three days, Twitch streamers tackled for a total of 130 hours.
Shortly after that, we had a booth at Games Ground in Berlin, and the vibes were fantastic. The desktop and Steam Deck station was occupied almost non-stop during the public days. And by now, 15 Steam curators have reviewed the game. From these events I received so much feedback that several updates have already made it into the current version (v0.5.98):

I’ve removed almost all of the repetitive levels
I reworked the Arcade mode in the postgame – it’s now a speedrun with the classic Tackle for Loss rules: only 4 attacks but unlimited lives
fixed a bug that caused achievements to stop working after using “Return to Title” – for now I’ve just disabled that option
fixed: when throwing a ball near a wall, it could spawn inside the wall
Upcoming updates / Todo:
some perks still need balancing to make them more meaningful
smaller cosmetic fixes
