A new update for Tabula's demo is out now! We've bundled in lots of quality of life improvements alongside changes to some early levels, in the hopes of making your time in the demo a much smoother (and more enjoyable) experience! Here's the rundown on what we've changed:
HIGHLIGHTS
Added an additional cutscene when introducing new puzzle mechanics.
Expanded the options window with new functionality:
Resolution and Window Mode settings
VSync
Toggle CRT filter and Background Ripple intensity settings
Keybinding and Controller Binding settings
Tabs for categorising settings
GAMEPLAY
Made changes to the following levels:
- 1-2Changed the positioning and layouts of windows to increase the diversity of solutions.
- 1-3Reduced the amount of windows and checkpoints to reduce bloat .
1-6: Made minor adjustments to the layouts of windows to increase the diversity of solutions.
ARTWORK
Added borders to all windows to improve readability.
Updated fonts to improve the readability of certain characters.
Added chain border to locked windows to improve visual feedback.
AUDIO
Changed some sound effects to randomise their pitch and reduce monotony.
MISC.
Made numerous bug fixes, balance changes and improvements to performance.
Removed the Virus Man.
