You are the captain of a spacecraft orbiting a dying sun — a last ember of warmth in a universe growing colder by the hour.
Your orders are clear: initiate and complete the construction of a Dyson Sphere — the ultimate feat of engineering and hope. A colossal structure to harness the full energy of the star. Success means salvation. Failure means extinction.
But you are not alone.
Other captains, with the same mission, may assist you — or compete. You cannot predict their motives.
And beyond human factions… an alien threat looms. They view the Dyson Sphere as a violation. An intrusion.
Your only tools:
Dice, to generate and allocate energy.
Drones, to carry out your commands.
Strategy, to withstand the chaos that follows.
Error: Communication systems offline.
Connection to other players: unavailable.
Resources: severely limited.
Countdown initiated. Time until stellar collapse: classified.
You must act. Every cycle matters. Every misstep echoes through history.

You begin with dice — the embodiment of volatile energy. They are not weapons, but tools. With each roll, you shape the fate of the Sphere. You must channel these fragments of energy into tasks: mining, building, expanding, defending.
Drones assist in translating your dice into action — but your fleet is small. Each drone represents a lifeline. And you have too few.

Reprocessing dice gives you new drones. But there is always a cost: time. Lost opportunities. A weakening of momentum.
And time… is not on your side.

Alien resistance is mounting. Unknown entities oppose the birth of the Sphere. You must now make a crucial choice:
Spend resources to bolster your defenses?
Or continue building and risk exposure?

To defend the Sphere, you must sacrifice resources intended for construction. If you hold them off, you buy time.
