1. Shock Gun (Taser)

  • A non-lethal weapon that deals minimal damage but stuns the target for 2 turns.

2. Poison Arrow / Bolt

  • The crafting recipe can be found in Hunting magazine (requires skill: Medical 3). Striking a target inflicts poison, causing them to lose 10% HP per turn (ineffective against zombies).

3. Dragon's Breath

  • Special ammunition for shotguns. It targets a single enemy and sets them on fire upon impact, rendering them unable to act, dealing 10–30 HP damage per turn, and severely damaging their armor.

4. Jacketed Hollow-Point Rounds (JHP)

  • Available Calibers: 9mm, .45, .357, 5.56mm, 7.62mm

  • Offers higher damage and stopping power but weaker armor penetration. Perfect for dealing with low-armor targets (like zombies).

5. Armor-Piercing Rounds (AP)

  • Available Calibers: 9mm, .45, .357, 5.56mm, 7.62mm

  • Doubles armor penetration at the cost of a slight reduction in raw damage. Ideal for cracking high-armor targets.

6. Subsonic Rounds

  • Available Calibers: 9mm, .45, .357

  • A low-velocity ammunition. While it sacrifices some damage and armor penetration, it significantly reduces muzzle noise, helping you avoid attracting more zombies.

Developer Note: These new special weapons and ammo types add a whole new layer of strategic depth. Utilizing them wisely will give you a significant tactical advantage!

Improvements & Adjustments

Based on your valuable feedback from the playtest, this update introduces the following improvements and adjustments:

  • Optimized Enemy Targeting Algorithm. Enemies will now dynamically evaluate distance, hit chance, armor, and potential damage to select the optimal target.

  • Crafting a basic Water Filter Bottle no longer requires the Survival skill.

  • You can now craft weapon parts from materials (requires skill: Craft 5), easing the pressure of firearm maintenance in the late game.

  • Text in the feedback log now uses color highlighting to differentiate between new and old information.

  • Added more UI tooltips.

  • Resolved several minor bugs.

Happy gaming!
