Repeated intro
Hey guys, here's what is included in version 1.0.2
What changed
- Balance
- Gameplay
- UI and audio
Table 9 changes
Brand new anomalies
One of the most common feedback I've received:
Some anomalies are very small / subtle / invisible.
Very few anomalies
While I was already planning to drop new anomalies soon, I've reorganised the order and am only adding more obvious ones to balance out the game.
Slowly we'll be crossing 25 total anomalies, then 30 and hopefully we'll get to 40.
Requested features and bug reports
Disable head-bob / sway
I hadn't even thought of adding an option to disable headbob - someone on reddit thankfully pointed it out super early and I've just added it
Players getting stuck
In some of the anomlies, player movement was glitching. That's just been fixed! Hopefully it'll be smooth moving from here on
Audio issues
Loop cuts were very noticeable - it breaks the immersion of the game. I did my best to minimize that.
My thoughts on the journey so far
Guys this is my first ever game to release on steam. It has barely been 4 days and we've sold 160 copies and 50 people have completed the game already!
I've been over the moon about how you guys have responded to Table 9. Some people even competing to get under 2 minutes completion time 🤯
Lots and lots of early feedback has been very helpful in prioritising what to include in this update.
But to all of you - I just want to say - Thank you for the support.
What's next
I'll keep working on making the game more fun. Someone requested more fun anomalies - I'm on it! 📈
If you have any suggestions or feedback, please let me know! I'm always available on twitter/x, discord or even here in the comments below!
