Dev Update
Note: Game Development is a tricky and iterative process. Changes will occur.
Development is progressing nicely! We've had over 40 online playtesters + many more for in-person meetups. Most of February's work has been the following.
LOTS of Bug Fixes + Graphical Updates
Minor overhauls to the scoring system
Massively enhanced display options
Leaderboard enhancements
Level 3 - Silent Sector is about halfway done. You can see a preview of the first 1:30 minutes here - View store page Very excited about one of the bosses that I will be showing off for this level, it's very Gradius V inspired.
Festivals and More!
SynthEscape has been accepted into steam's Bullet Festival (June 8th) and Cyberpunk Festival (Aug 3rd). There will be a public demo available before then! I am aiming for October's next fest as well, but that may change based on progression and the release date (which I am currently aiming for Q1 2027).
In-Person Event
Thanks so much to Potions and Pixels for hosting January and February's game developer meetup in Charlotte, NC! If you live nearby and would like to check it out and say hi, these will be once a month for the foreseeable future (and I will attempt to make as many as I can).
