We recently announced everything that was new in our demo, and we mentioned a competition that we will be hosting during Steam Next Fest. So here’s everything you need to know about it, starting with the cashprize breakdown!

  • 🕰️ EVENT DURATION:

    • The competition will run during Steam Next February 2026.

    • The run submission form (below) will open on February 23 at 10AM (PST) and close on March 2 at 10AM (PST).

  • 🔞 ELIGIBILITY:

    • You MUST be 18+ to participate.

    • You MUST have a valid Steam account and have added Sydless to your wishlist.

    • You MUST perform your run using the demo build on our Steam page.

  • 🥳 HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

    • Perform a run of at least one of the Level 1, 2, 3, or 4 in one go, on NORMAL difficulty.

    • Make sure to RECORD your run in one continuous take, from difficulty selection to level completion – we need this footage to suss out cheaters.

    • Record each level you run individually .

    • Fill out the run submission form (below).

  • ❌ PROHIBITIONS:

    • Any external game modification is strictly prohibited.

    • Any incompliance with these rules and guidelines will result in your submission being voided.

  • 🏅 RANKINGS:

    • Winners will be announced on our socials and contacted after Steam Next Fest, within a reasonable time frame.

    • Rankings are established per level (1 – 4) and each level will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions.

  • 🤑 PRIZES:

    • Prize money transfers will be arranged with winners.

    • Keys are for our full game and will be distributed on the game release.

  • 📚 MISC.:

    • Runs on other difficulties than “Normal” are not accepted.

    • Your run time can be seen when completing a run, on the in-game computer, and on the official leaderboard (see below).

    • Presence on the leaderboard is not an entry – you MUST submit the form!

    • You can submit several runs!

    • Prizes are cumulative!
