changedPirates, welcome to patch 1.0.9 and thank you for your patience as we continue to improve this game. This is a small update to balance some of the issues some players had with the game's balance and difficulty, as well as a much needed bugfix for items won in land battles.
fixedFixed a bug where luxury goods won from land battles didn't go into the ship's cargo
removedMade siege walls stronger so they can no longer be one shot by most ammo types
changedNerfed Call Lightning spell by 30% (was too OP)
changedIncreased the frequency of enemy captains upgrading their ships
changedNerfed the damage seamonsters do against ships so there is less chance of them one-shotting more armoured galleons

Patch notes for 1.0.9

  • Fixed a bug where luxury goods won from land battles didn't go into the ship's cargo

  • Made siege walls stronger so they can no longer be one shot by most ammo types

  • Nerfed the power of catapults to make sieges more challenging

  • Nerfed Call Lightning spell by 30% (was too OP)

  • Increased the frequency of enemy captains upgrading their ships

  • Nerfed the damage seamonsters do against ships so there is less chance of them one-shotting more armoured galleons
