Survivors Guild Playtest - Update 4

For update 4, I focused on controller support and reworking the in-game menus. Every menu can now be navigated with a controller! The goal here is to polish up the game for a demo release.

changedThe goal here is to polish up the game for a demo release. Most of the menus and panels have been either touched up or reworked to look better and work well with controllers. Controllers should be able to do anything a keyboard and mouse can do.
addedAlso, I added another wave event to spice things up. It has a chance at replacing flock events. I had to rework how event enemies spawn, which had the added benefit of improving event spawning performance. Let me know how it goes.
addedFor the Witch, I want her Firebolt to have more of an impact, so I removed the Firebolt penetration and added a small explosion instead. It should also make her Fireball feel more different since it is a penetrating projectile.

Patch Notes:

  • New UI panels

  • Reworked settings menu

  • Reworked most UI to work better with controllers

  • Reworked Witch Firebolt to cause small explosions rather than penetrating

  • Added new wave event where enemies spawn in zones that damage players

  • Added more wave events during a run

  • Some events now have a chance of being replaced with another event

  • Fixed temporary stats not resetting

  • Lowered the amount of EXP needed to level up in the early-mid game

  • Improved performance when spawning many enemies for an event
