Surviving Skeleton Island changes
As the release of the game nears big changes are happening and the latest V1.0.9 update for Surviving Skeleton Island is here, bringing new content, improvements, and important fixes. This update introduces a new swamp biome, additional mini-boss creatures, improved loot, and various quality-of-life enhancements.
Here’s what’s new in this version:
New Content & Features
New Swamp Area – Explore the treacherous swamps, now home to new and challenging enemies.
Expanded Survival Options – Additional water sources and camp locations have been added to smaller islands to improve resource gathering.
More Mini Bosses – New Diamond Animals have been introduced, offering tougher encounters and rewarding loot.
Fixes & Improvements
Dungeon 4 (Snow Area) Fixed – Resolved issues preventing proper gameplay in this dungeon.
Harvestable Trees Added – Some small islands now have trees that can be harvested for wood.
Balanced Economy – Adjusted sell values for certain armor and items to improve overall game balance.
Steel Shield Fixed – The shield now functions as intended.
More Readable Items – The “Read” function has been added to additional items, including the Monkey’s Mace.
Improved Loot and Treasure:
Increased loot in dig spots and graves
Adjusted Gazer Island enemies and their loot drops
Increased wood drops from Monkey Island trees
Snake bug fixed – snakes now correctly drop fangs
Map Enhancements – Campfires n
ow have map icons, making it easier to locate camp locations.
Bug Fixes & Tweaks
Renamed duplicate notes to prevent confusion.
Increased stacking limits for skins and water jugs to improve inventory management.
Bloodstone Portal Fixed – Adjusted to make it easier to open.
Fixed edge-of-game bug – Resolved an issue where players could get stuck at world boundaries.
