Clucky This humble bird is an excellent source of delicious meat, that can be cooked. These are common, and won't attack you.

Howler A vicious member of the Canine family, this grey coated beastie will attack and eat you if it gets the chance. Be careful in forests, as this is their native home.

Hogger Unlike it's piggy cousin, the Oinker, this beast is not afraid to attack tributes who get too close. Razor sharp tusks and a mean temperament make these a dangerous encounter if you want to hunt them for their meat.

Skeleton They say that these were once pirates who had had so much mischeif to do, that death could not stop them. You'll find them around beaches and ruined pirate ships. They carry items left over from their days on the seas, so they carry a wide variety of weapons and items.

Mushy This bizarre animated fungus just wants to be left alone. They hide in the ground, and will attack defensively if you get too close. They have some kind of magic about them, and will drop magical items if manage to catch one.

Pixie Pengwing A tropical relative of the arctic penguins, these flightless birds are found on rocky outcroppings near water. They are harmless, despite their beady red eyes.

There is a bunch more creatures in Survival Games Battle Royale, with the Zombie and Uberhund being unique to the upcoming Zombie Survival mode. Most creatures you encounter have a hostile, and a passive variant which means this list is far from complete.

Creatures add a whole hunting dimension to these Survival Genre games, which clever players can exploit when they kite hostile creatures into fights with their enemies. How? Throw a piece of meat to a deadly Roarclaws and he'll follow you, but not attack you for a while.

Anyway, tell us what you think about these in the comments below. Let us know if you have any cool ideas, or noticed something when you encountered one when playing Survival Games.
