The World is Mathematical
This release brings the long-promised decimals and fractions to the Math
Corner, and extends Pythagor Hall to circles.
— Math Corner — Decimals & Fractions —
A full new wave of lessons and exams arrives in the Math Corner:
8 new lessons covering decimal addition, subtraction, multiplication,
division, and the introduction to fractions ("when a number breaks"),
followed by simplifying fractions. 20 new Den exams give plenty of
practice for each new notion.
— Pythagor Hall — Circles —
The PythaCercles lesson now extends to the disk's area — distinguishing
the circle (the boundary) from the disk (the interior), with concrete
calculations using π ≈ 3.14.
Two new Den exams on circles:
The system draws a circle; you measure its radius and diameter with
your ruler, then compute the circumference and area.
You draw the circle yourself with a given radius, erase your
construction marks, then answer the same four measurements.
— Geometry — Quality of Life —
Tool controls now show on-screen. The set square can be flipped (F).
You can zoom in closer for precise constructions. And you can grab
and use the geometry tools while ProfFil is still talking — the
scenario catches up with your anticipated actions.
ProfFil's hint in Den geometry exams now also covers circles: it
tells you whether the circle is missing, drawn around the wrong
center, with the wrong radius, or simply not asked for.
— More —
Press Space to fully pause the game during lessons. The Knowledge
Tree got a major readability pass (short names + tooltip + visible
prerequisites). Den exams now play a clear success/failure sound.
Plus various fixes across the geometry stack — including the answers
page no longer leaking your construction markers into the PDF copy.
Full devlog available in-game, under the Version History panel.
