Welcome everyone! This is the first devlog on the development of SUPRACORE. In these "devlog" posts I will be documenting the development of the game and showcase the latest additions to the game, so let's get started!

1. The main goal of the update

In this update I really tried to make the systems behind every object in the game as optimized, modular and efficient as possible to allow for faster development in the future. This makes it really easy to add new resources to the game, modify existent objects with only a few clicks and add new structures easily.

2. New objects

  • Flamethrower It is a turret that uses Fuel and Power to set enemies on fire and deal a large amount of damage in a cone.

  • Mortar It uses a large amount of Power to launch bullets that explode on impact and deal a lot of damage to multiple enemies This tower has a maximum range AND a minimum range where it can shoot in.

  • Ice spreader This tower uses power to damage and slow enemies in a small range.

  • Storage units They will allow you to store more resources. They come in 3 variants:

    1. Raw material

    2. Liquids

    3. Power

  • Mixers It uses multiple resources to generate a new one (the one shown in the icon in the middle)

  • Oil pump It uses power to extract Oil

3. UI improvements

The "STATS" panel for each object has been improved, showing you what resources it uses, what resources it generates by using icons (not just text as it was previously) alongside useful information about the tower.
