Looking back at the journey from the first prototype during my studies to the full release 4 years later has been incredible. To celebrate how far we've come, I’ve made the very first version of Supersonic Bridge Racing playable on Steam!

This is the raw, "rough draft" created in a team of 5 in just 9 days of studying Digital Ideation. It’s janky, it’s experimental, and it’s where all the passion for this project started.

How to access the prototype 🕹️

I’ve added this as a separate branch so it doesn't mess with your main game files:

  1. Right-click Supersonic Bridge Racing in your Library.

  2. Select Properties...

  3. Select Game Versions & Betas

  4. Choose the first-prototype branch from the dropdown.

Disclaimer / "Features" ⚠️

Since this was built in just over a week, please keep in mind:

  • Controller Required: You MUST have a controller connected before you launch the game or it won't work! 🎮

  • Audio Warning: The sound starts loud and stays loud. Be prepared to turn your volume down.

  • Bug City: There are plenty of bugs and rough edges. But that’s the point of a prototype! 🐛

  • This is a snapshot of the game’s DNA before all the polish, multiplayer, and campaigns were added.

It’s been a wild ride since those first 9 days. Huge thanks to everyone who has been part of this journey from the early prototypes to the official Steam launch!
