What changed
- Security
This update we have overhauled the core progression system. We heard the feedback players shared and realized that the old quota system did not bring anything new to the table and was holding back the potential replay ability of the game. This lead to build a new contract system from the ground up. You can find the details below. We have also made a few quality of life changes and bug fixes listed below.
Contract System
Players now have a rotating list of contracts that they can choose from, each tied to 1 of 5 distinct, procedurally generated maps. Every contract defines your specific objectives, such as retrieving a set number of energy cells, penalties, and payout. Each contract can be modified using modifiers to increase your earnings. These modifiers are of various kinds, such as Increase enemy damage, incur a higher penalty per casualty, or disable oxygen tank spawning .
Quality of Life Changes and Bug Fixes
A new main menu with increased game feel in the form of camera movement and art work A new gear slot with improved UI behavior to communicate functionality A repeated bug regarding players getting stuck in objects when sprinting has been fixed A bug that caused players to get stuck inside the security terminal immediately after spawning has been fixed We hope you enjoy the update and share any feedback you have.
