addedAfter some more checking, it appears that we've narrowed the issue down a bit more. At some point in time, Microsoft pushed an update for Windows 10 which includes a new option in the Region Settings:
changedTo access this option in Windows 10, search for Region & language and on the right hand side of the menu you should find the option Administrative language settings. Alternatively you can open up Control Panel, click on Clock and Region followed by Region. Next, click on Change system locale which will bring you to the above window. Here you can uncheck the Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support option. While the actual issue is still unclear, checking the Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support apparently breaks the game regardless of the locale that's used. Until a proper fix is made either in the game engine or in Microsoft's implementation we recommend unchecking this option which should allow Super Naughty Maid 2 to run fine. It's still unclear if this will fix things for everyone but it's definitely one possibility. We appreciate everyone's patience and continued support.
