addedIllegal Turtle team here! We've been working hard all this year, and now we're in the homestretch towards early release! The game's release is just around the corner, and we wanted to give you a little insight into the final months before Sunset Survival Station goes into early access. During this time, we came up with a couple of cool new mechanics, and the game has undergone some conceptual changes!
changedScenariosNow there are not only 4 zones in the game, but 20 unique scenarios in which the player has to survive. We approach each scenario as a separate little game! This has allowed us to move a bit away from complete randomization of events, but each scenario requires careful testing.
changedHeroesWe decided not to chase quantity, but to rely on quality! There will be 3 heroes on release, but each of them will have 36 unique skills, which will emphasize the peculiarities of each hero's combat style. It is not certain that we will have time to balance all the skills, so we hope for your feedback )
changedDifficultyWe have debates about how difficult a game should be. In the days of Dark Souls' rampage, everyone wanted to overcome. Vampire Survivors, in our opinion, is too slow and calm. We're trying to find a balance!
