Hello again Sprouters! Welcome to the First Major expansion of Sunset Sprout!

The Old Village Island! ⛏️

The old village was once a booming mineral wealth island; it was filled with many people working tirelessly on extracting its magnificent ores and one-of-a-kind wealth. Young ones from all over the continent flocked to it to make a living and start their fortune, and fortune it gave them.

Yet with years of industry and no maintenance, the island slowly began to decay and die. It is now only a fraction of its former glory, and all its previous inhabitants are long gone, except for Aurelius, an old man attached to the island who is in need of your help to restore it to something that resembles its former glory!

What's New ✨

👴 Aurelius

A new friend with a main questline related to the old village island. Help Aurelius clean and restore the island, earn his trust, learn his story, and unlock abilities only he can grant you.

Quest access:

• Build the old village portal

• Complete at least 20 of Enid's quests

You can only have one questline active at once, so if you already have an Enid quest after having the previous requirements met, then you have to complete it before you get a quest from Aurelius.

🐦 Ostrich Den

Ostriches are well known for having huge eggs and long legs; though they are unconventional in a farm, you will find their inclusion a great addition to your own farm!

💧 Water Collector

This cheap early game structure can be placed on the island and gets filled with water when it rains. It can keep water stored there to use when you need it! The best part? You can have up to three of them!

🤝 Guilds

Guilds are community alliances that allow players to collaborate with like-minded individuals striving for similar goals in their farming lifestyles! Ranging from crop experts, animal lovers, master craftspeople, and even just great service providers—everyone has a place to shine.

🏛️ Guild House

This new structure gives you access to all guild features, challenges, and the guild shop with exclusive items for each guild!

🔨 The Blacksmith

With the help of Aurelius, you can unlock many exclusive farming skills that will improve and change many things on the main island, providing new skills and large improvements to already existing buildings.

🏡 Greenhouse

Grow Sunset Seeds into 6 unique and beautiful flowers to add beauty and wonder to your island.

🏆 Over 15+ New Achievements

You can attempt to earn over 15 new achievements!

🦗 Bug Catching

You can now catch bugs around the island if you have a Bug Net handy! Progress through the new questline to find it.

🌳 New Fruit Tree: Apricot!

🦅 Pelican

A new bird that only appears on the old village. Smack it for a chance to get exclusive ores!

Note: All localizations were made with google translate so some error could be present, please report any issue you find in the discord.

Additionally, the French localization was audited by a French friend of mine, so it should be fine.

Quality of Life 🎮

✅ Added the ability to view all number of required items you have in the barn for each crafting recipe on hovering.

✅ Clicking on level counter opens the player profile now.

✅ Moved the Report Bug button into the Misc section of the options menu.

✅ Set a max building amount for some of the structures to stop overcrowding.

✅ Orders are now saved and can be continued anytime you open the game.

✅ Hovering on the rewards section will show tooltip of the item name.

✅ Added the ability to mute bird sounds.

✅ Added the ability to hide weather effects (rain, leaves, and such).

✅ Harvesting crops now shows exactly how many they yield.

✅ Preview of buildings in build menu is now larger with more details.

✅ Preview of crops is now larger with more details.

✅ Added Main quest completion stat in the profile page.

✅ Added logging for game save to track any issues that might occur.

✅ Added proper glyphs and icons for controller play.

✅ Vasc's Tips will be open by default now.

✅ Day-light cycle is clearer as to what time it is now.

✅ Building skins will now show in the crafting book menu.

✅ Removed the Cash requirements from constructions to buildings bought from the Structures menu and Animals menu (Base price is increased for some of them).

Bug Fixes 🐛

🔧 Fixed an issue where the Auto Plotter would function and drain resources in visit mode.

🔧 Fixed likes not always counting when visiting a player.

🔧 Fixed an issue where the Sunset Sprout and the well can be clicked through screens.

🔧 Fixed an issue where new labors don't generate when they expire.

🔧 Fixed all issues with some achievements not triggering.

🔧 Fixed an issue where you could water plants in visit mode.

🔧 Fixed an issue where the plot land menu would display outside the screen on higher resolutions.

🔧 Fixed an issue where saving the game would freeze the game for a moment.

🔧 Fixed an issue with plant plots and fences not tiling correctly on move or sell.

🔧 Fixed an issue where plotland prices don't increase with each purchase.

🔧 Fixed an issue where controller glyphs would not always appear when using a controller.
