changedThe Japanese localization of Sunset Hills has already been completed for a while, and both the Cotton Game and Asmik Ace teams wish to offer the best localization quality we can, which will take 2-3 months for the internal testing & beta testing then make some optimizations before we release the Japanese version. We hope with the game release, we can have more players who speak English and Japanese join our localization testing and give us valuable feedback.

It's great news that Sunset Hills is coming to Steam on October 3, 2024 in Japanese! Thank you for your patience. We will also be attending the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) from September 26 to September 29, 2024, so please come visit us at booth 09-W62 in the Hall9 Indie Games section.
