Summona Realm: The Secret Flame changes

Fixed:

  • Standardized floating-point conventions across all game systems.

Developer Note: This bug is a special one for me because it first surfaced back in October last year. At the time, a player reported a black screen that rendered the game unplayable.

Since I couldn't reproduce the issue on my end, I wasn't able to fix it then. Given the small player base at the time, I... well, let’s just say I put it on the back burner.

Recently, a second player reported the same issue, which pushed me to dive deeper. It turns out the culprit was the system’s regional settings. In countries like France, Germany, Italy, or Vietnam, the convention for decimal separators differs from the convention expected by the game engine. For example, if a scene was programmed to wait for '4.5s', the OS would misinterpret it as '45s', causing the game to hang.

Everything should be working smoothly now regardless of your region. Thank you for your patience and for helping me track this down!
