Update 1.0.0.5 — Gallery fix (and an apology!)

Deux-trois détails à corriger : un "should has been... been" resté d'une rature, et les espaces avant les deux-points (réflexe français — en anglais ils se collent au mot).

What changed

0 fixes3 additions1 change0 removals
  • Gameplay
  • UI and audio
addedRemoves the stray developer data: new installs now start with a properly locked Gallery and a clean save list.
changedFixes a fireplace sound that kept looping after the evening scene in the Winter chapter.
addedOne important note: if you launched the game before this update, the unlocked Gallery has unfortunately already been merged into your own save data, and this patch can't undo it automatically. If you'd rather have the Gallery locked again so you can unlock it yourself the way it was intended, let me know in the comments — I can add a "Reset Gallery" button in a future update. Fair warning though: it would reset all Gallery unlocks, including the ones you've legitimately earned, so you'd have to unlock everything again by playing.
addedThis won't happen again: I've added extra exclusion rules to the build scripts, so save data can never end up in a build anymore.

Version finale propre

Hey everyone,

Quick update to fix an embarrassing mistake on my end. A previous build accidentally included my own developer save data in the game files. Because of this, some of you had the full Gallery unlocked from your very first launch — and you may even have spotted some unfamiliar save files in the Load menu. Nothing harmful, just my personal testing data that was never meant to ship. Sorry about that! Well... I guess that's what Early Access is for, right? You're not just testing the game, you're testing the developer too. 😅

What this update does:

  • Removes the stray developer datanew installs now start with a properly locked Gallery and a clean save list.
  • Fixes a fireplace sound that kept looping after the evening scene in the Winter chapter.

One important note

if you launched the game before this update, the unlocked Gallery has unfortunately already been merged into your own save data, and this patch can't undo it automatically. If you'd rather have the Gallery locked again so you can unlock it yourself the way it was intended, let me know in the comments — I can add a "Reset Gallery" button in a future update.

Fair warning though

it would reset all Gallery unlocks, including the ones you've legitimately earned, so you'd have to unlock everything again by playing.

This won't happen again: I've added extra exclusion rules to the build scripts, so save data can never end up in a build anymore.

Sorry again for the mix-up, and a huge thank you to those who reported it.
