Steam Workshop: Now Better Than Ever

The Steam Workshop is fully integrated once again! Create your own maps with customizable player numbers, victory conditions, and events. Upload your creations and share them with the community. Fun fact: All campaign levels were created with these tools – now it’s easier than ever to add new content!

Important Information About Save Games

Attention: Older save files are not compatible with Version 1.0.0. For those who wish to stick with their previous save files, we’ve made Steam Beta versions of earlier releases (v0.9.6 to v0.9.2) available under: Steam > Summer Islands > Properties > Betas > Select Beta. ⚡🏖️

Additional Features

From the revamped terraforming interface to color-coded building placement hints – there are plenty of improvements. The minimap now includes handy shortcuts, and everything has been polished for the best gaming experience possible.

No code is perfect, and bugs may still sneak in – rest assured, we’ll address your feedback and roll out fixes in the coming weeks.

The Mac version is almost ready! Just a little more patience, and soon Mac players will be able to join in the fun.
