fixedFixed an issue where players were locked out of accessing the last page in the book to burn down the Black Woods.
addedChapter 999 has added a warning that if the player has made keepsakes progress, it will be lost unless you load a checkpoint after the Black Eye is performed.

What an incredible launch! We really appreciate all the support and everyone taking the time to let us know about any snags so far; it's incredibly helpful to everyone here at Akabaka and DreadXP.

Currently, Akabaka and QA are hard at work on the bug fixes, so please keep letting us know if you come across more!

Patch Notes

  • Bug Fixes:

  • Chapter 999's checkpoints don't unlock when played through.

  • Fixed an issue where players were locked out of accessing the last page in the book to

    burn down the Black Woods.

  • Chapter 999 has added a warning that if the player has made keepsakes progress, it will be lost unless you load a checkpoint after

    the Black Eye is performed.

  • Incorrect fonts on Each True end screen, causing fonts to run off-screen

  • In Chapter 1000,

    successfully fighting a boss to the truth, ending in the basement, resets the boss battle and causes a crash.

  • Various other bug fixes
