SuchArt: Genius Artist Simulator changes
Heya,
Long time no see! We haven’t been in touch for a while, but here we are back from nowhere for a fresh update!
The Miserable Artist (free) DLC
Are your clients treating you too well? Do you think you deserve less praise, and a whole lot more pettiness? Then the Miserable Artist Experience DLC is here to fix that for you.
The Miserable Artist DLC offers you to discover a fresh take on the game’s story, and experience the life of a maybe-not-so-genius artist, after all.
Brace yourself for awfully mean, entitled clients and start developing your personal coping strategy already. Will you ignore the pettiness, accept it, slack off and make low effort paintings, stay convinced of your well hidden deep down genius, or paint aggressive paintings in retaliation? Only you will tell.
This totally optional and free DLC should be taken as a humoristic alternative take on the game. Enable the DLC and start a new game to try it out! And if you find out it is not for you (fair enough), then it is always possible to disable it mid playthrough without losing any progress.
The Miserable Artist experience is only available in English.

The Summer update (2.1.0.0)
Frame your paintings
One of your oldest requests finally made it to the game!
The painting-framing tool is now available in your gallery and waiting for you. Choose any combination of 35 different frames and 29 materials to fit the best frame on each and any of your paintings.
With 5 different categories of frames and 4 categories of materials, we sure hope you’ll find something to your liking!
Did you say Jetpack?
Experience the most stable, noiseless and apartment-friendly jetpack of them all.
The release of the Hangar update got you a spacious hangar and large items to paint, only to expect you to fight artificial gravity with some primitive ladders? No more!
Your new Jetpack station is waiting for you in the Hangar if you got the credits for it. No more excuses, ceiling is the limit!
More commissions variety
A good amount of commissions’ variety has been added to the portrait-less clients. More topics and style requests are waiting to be explored!
That’s it
This and also various bug fixes:
Petbot will now wake up if burned or scared by a explosion
Fixed a situation in which PetBot would sleep with its eyes open
Gallery lighting improvements
Fixed two retractable walls in the gallery that were duplicated
Fixed two retractable wall markers were not visible
Fixed the portable paint machine palette holder going into a wrong angle if turned while the machine was tilted
Fixed a small unpaintable line on the small 1-2 canvas
Better cursor speed and size across different screen resolutions
Fixed "No reviews yet" shop entries not being localized
Fixed bought items would never disappear from the shopping screen when bought in Creative mode
Fixed the last radio page creadits was not shown
Fixed duct tape would not get destroyed along paintings in incinerator, etc
Fixed a rare bug that could break multiple things in the game
And that should be it for now. We hope you enjoy everything we’ve prepared for you today and, of course, wish you a lovely painting day!
