SubwaySim 2 – GI/1E (Gisela) | Release Announcement

It’s official: The GI/1E (“Gisela”) will release on May 7th, 2026 for SubwaySim 2.

After the past weeks of development insights, technical deep dives, and scenario previews, the release is now right around the corner – less than a week away.

Together with 3DZug, we’ve put a lot of work into bringing the Gisela to life as authentically and detailed as possible. It won’t be long before you can experience it yourself.

Before launch, we’d like to take you along one more time:

On Wednesday, May 6th, 2026, we’ll be hosting a livestream from 6:00 PM to around 8:00 PM (CEST). We’ll showcase the vehicle, talk about development, and answer your questions.

We’re looking forward to the final days leading up to release – and to finally handing over the Gisela to you. 🚇
