Subsurface Playtest Delayed
Hello Divers,
We wanted to provide an update regarding the Subsurface Playtest, which was originally scheduled to begin tomorrow.
After extensive testing over the past few days, we've identified several issues that we feel should be addressed before opening the playtest to the public. While we've made significant progress, we're still working through a handful of multiplayer, stability, and quality-of-life improvements that could negatively impact the experience.
Rather than rushing the playtest out the door, we've made the difficult decision to delay it for a short period while we continue polishing the game.
We know many of you were excited to jump into Subsurface, and we truly appreciate your patience and support. Our goal is to ensure that your first experience with the game is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
The extra time will allow us to:
Improve multiplayer stability • Fix bugs discovered during testing • Polish gameplay systems and user experience • Deliver a stronger overall playtest experience
We'll share an updated playtest date as soon as we're confident the build is ready.
