changedToday we would like to shed light on unique collaboration indeed. You see, some time ago, Stygian: Outer Gods made quite an impression on gaming industry legend Raphaël Colantonio - co-founder of Arkane Studios and renowned game designer of titles such as Dishonored or Prey . In fact, he praised the game's impressive visuals and art style for their immersive Lovecraftian atmosphere, despite classic clutter-versus-interaction challenges. He highlighted a thrilling hide-and-seek fear moment with attacking zombies and a pursuing dog, showcasing masterful tension-building and strong potential for agile combat and strategic depth. Since the game made such an impression on him, we decided to ask him to in turn leave his mark on it as well - and to our absolute joy, Raphaël agreed!
changedHave you noticed the enigmatic voice of the Seer when trading with him for the talent-unlocking cards? That's actually Raphaël Colantonio speaking to you from across time and space! And not only that, have you listened to the haunting, eerie melody Jack plays on the piano, or that plays during the end credits? That is the piano version of "I Still Care" , a song by Weird Wolves - Colantonio’s band. The melody will also be prominently featured in upcoming content of the game - the next content update will come during the Lovecraftian Days festival, starting April 9. And don't worry, we will be showing you first glimpses of what awaits you, soon!
addedBut we also took the original studio recording of "I Still Care" and paired the Weird Wolves’ signature dark sound and on-stage energy with Lovecraftian imagery and dread of Stygian, creating a brand-new music video that you can watch right now. What do you think?
